“VARIETY OF BALKAN FOLK DANCE”

Within the framework of the IIIrd International Choreography camp and contest-festival "AKVA - LOO - TEMP!" Rumyan Zanev conducted an interesting workshop on Balkan national dances.

Teacher: Rumyan Zanev (Bulgaria, Razgrad) – Director of the State National Kapan folk ensemble.

Rumyan Zanev - Honored Ambassador of the Culture of Bulgaria, offered unforgettable moments while exploring the national heritage of sunny Bulgaria to all the participants of the master class. The Bulgarian dance is based on collective and mass execution. The accompanying bright melodies can be withstood only by trained. Dance laced with the warm sun of the south and the sweet scent of rose plantations.

The children learned, the simple composition dance pattern, but with a variety of leg movement- technically challenging and surprisingly beautiful. The unique atmosphere of the southern temperament and amazing taste expressed in the dances of Bulgaria will, for a long time, provide participants of the master class with good emotions.
