150 000 rubles - this is the prize fund of our unique contest of vocal art, whose support for more than 10-years history was provided by state structures of the highest level, for example, the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. Our members are vocalists, that are ready to storm the musical Olympus and transform their talent into international fame. The colossal concentration of teaching material in master classes, which are free for participants, is a unique opportunity to acquire for a few competitive days a huge base of knowledge. The contest opens the doors for further creative growth of the artist. Many contestants after enter the profile universities, academies and conservatories with a worldwide reputation.

Venue

The international contest will be held with the support of "St. Petersburg Academy of Postgraduate Education" and the International Academy of Music of Elena Obraztsova. 

OBJECTIVES AND TASKS OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONTEST:

The competition is held in order to identify and support talented youth, popularize vocal art in its performing and pedagogical aspects, and also to open new names and talents in the field of vocal.

Also the objectives of the contest are: preservation and development of the traditions of the multinational culture of the Russian Federation; familiarity of participants with the richness of the culture of the countries worldwide; increase the professional level of team leaders; conducting master classes, creative meetings and round tables for teachers; the development of tolerance among young people and an adequate understanding of other cultures, ways of self-expression and manifestation of human individuality; exchange of experience between collectives and teachers, support of permanent creative contacts between them, their unification within the framework of the festival movement; creation of an atmosphere for professional communication of participants of the competition, exchange of experience and repertoire; attraction of producers and organizers of concerts for further contacts with teams participating in the competition, for organizing tours and participation in foreign festivals, competitions and concerts; attracting attention from state, international, commercial and public organizations to the problems of creative teams and performers; coverage of the creativity of children and youth in the media.

Competitive auditions of soloists and groups take place at the contest-festival, soloists and groups are held for the solemn opening ceremony, awards and gala concert of the winners, creative meetings and master classes with famous masters of culture, round tables with members of the jury and excursion program on the main sights.

NOMINATIONS OF THE COMPETITION

Vocal creativity (Classical / Variety / Jazz / Choral / Show groups, Ensembles)
* solos, duets, trios, ensembles, choirs.

AGE CATEGORIES

Up to 8 years; from 9 to 10 years; from 11 to 12 years; from 13 to 15 years; from 16 to 18; over 18; mixed group.

TECHNICAL EQUIPMENT. Participants of all nominations can perform competitive works with live musical accompaniment or have minus tracks on CD-R in the audio format, and also duplicate phonograms on a flash drive in WAV / WAVE format.

PROGRAM OF PERFORMANCE. the competition will be held in 2 stages. On the 1st round (the first contest day), each contestant presents 1 work, at its discretion, with a duration of not more than 4 minutes. If the duration of the performed work exceeds 4 minutes, the jury has the right to withdraw the participant from the competition. For the 2nd round (the second competitive day) 60% of the total number of participants pass and represent the second work of a different nature. Contestants should be ready to perform the third work of a'sapella, at the request of the jury.

JURY. the composition of the jury, headed by the chairman, is formed and approved by the organizing committee of the competition from well-known artists, teachers of creative universities, directors, leaders of creative groups, cultural figures and artists. The list of the jury will be known with the start of the competition. At the end of the competition, the participants and teachers have the opportunity to discuss with the jury the contest performances and exchange opinions.

The jury will be headed by the professor of the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts, head of the department "Variety Art and Musical Theater" - Bogdanov Igor Alekseevich.

CRITERIA FOR ASSESMENT OF PARTICIPANTS PERFORMANCES. Competition numbers are evaluated on a 10-point system. Given these criteria, each member of the jury can put an estimate of 1 to 10 points. The final evaluation of the performance consists of the sum of all judges' assessments and can range from 4 to 40 points.

The jury evaluates several positions.

Technique of performance - conformity to style, quality of intoning, level of complexity, originality, the ability to perform the characteristic features of the selected vocal technique, the quality of performance, rhythm, synchronism in the performance of the work, the correspondence of the repertoire to the age characteristics of the performers, the choice of musical material. Image - self-expression, presentation, contact with the viewer, costume, expression of a conceived idea in the vocal composition, props, make-up. The entertainment of the room.

Summing up the results of the competition

Winners are identified in accordance with the decision of the jury, based on the points reflected in the protocols. The winners and participants of the competition are awarded with honorary certificates and valuable gifts. The participants of the competition who did not pass in the 2nd round receive a participant's diploma and a memorable gift. The jury's decision is final and not subject to change. The organizing committee and the jury have the right to recommend groups and individual participants for participation in other competitions and festivals.

The prize fund is 150 000 rubles

Soloist - the owner of GRAND PRIX will be awarded a cash prize of 50 000 rubles. The collective is the owner of GRAND PRIX with a cash prize of 100 000 rubles.

The organizing committee informs about the possibility of exclusion, disqualification of participants and spectators of the competition at any stage

Location

Performances of participants will be held at one of the best scenes of the city - in the concert hall of the hotel "St. Petersburg".

Elite concert hall "St. Petersburg" - an excellent venue, located in the historic center of the city. The hall is equipped with all necessary systems for holding events at the highest level. Employees of the concert hall - experts in light, sound and visual effects, administrators of the hall are real experts in their field.

Master classes

IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF MUSIC AND ARTSparticipants can take part and improve their skills at master classes from professional teachers in various creative disciplines, gain theoretical knowledge and practical advice from experienced art masters. 

Note:

- participation in master classes for contestants is free,
- the visit is strictly by appointment,
- at the end of the master class you will get a certificate,
- all information received in the master class can be used in further creative activity.

 The price includes: participation in the competition and master classes, accommodation in hostels (3-4-6-8-10-bed accommodation) and in hotels "St. Petersburg", "Lancaster", "Rus" (2-3-bed rooms with conveniences), arrival of participants and the beginning of rehearsals on February 14 from 15.00, departure on February 18 to 12.00, breakfasts in the buffet system for the COMFORT program, transfer from the railway station (on the festival dates), sightseeing tour in St. Petersburg.

Transfer hotel-concert hall-hotel is charged additionally: 150 rubles per person.

Attention!
The group transfer for participants is organized according to the schedule: in the morning, departure to the concert hall, in the evening - return to the hotel. Participants are personally liable for late / non-appearance at the time of transfer; money for the missed transfer will not be returned.

About hotels:

The hotels are located in the picturesque part of St. Petersburg and provide all the conditions for a comfortable stay of the participants of the contest.

"St. Petersburg" - the hotel is located in the historical center of St. Petersburg, on Pirogovskaya Embankment, and offers comfortable accommodation in rooms with all amenities. From the windows of the hotel offers a magnificent view of the waters of the Neva, bridges, domes of the Savior on Spilled Blood and St. Isaac's Cathedral.

"Lancaster" - an elegant hotel located in the Vyborgsky district of St. Petersburg. It is decorated in English Victorian style. The hotel offers spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi.

"Rus" - the hotel is located in the center of St. Petersburg. It offers comfortable rooms with a TV. All rooms have telephone and free Wi-Fi. Nevsky Prospect and Smolny Cathedral are a 15-minute walk away. The walk to the Summer Garden takes 12 minutes.

FINANCIAL CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPANTS FROM SAINT-PETERSBURG (excluding accommodation, meals, transfers and excursions). 
Organizational fee for participation: for soloists and duets 3200 rubles; for collectives 1000 rubles per person, but not more than 12 000 rubles from the collective.

If a participant acts as a solo / in a duet, or as part of an ensemble, the main nomination is ensemble. Solo / duet performance in this case is an additional nomination.

When submitting an application for the festival, each team, as well as each age group, must submit a surname list of the composition of the team / age group, indicating the exact age of each participant at the time of the performance.

Application

FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE INTERNATIONAL VOCAL CONTEST it is necessary to send an application about the team (soloist) till February, 7, 2019 (You can see the sample application on the website or receive by fax) and pay the registration fee.

In the application it is necessary to specify: the full name of the collective (soloist); nomination; the institution in which the collective is based, its postal address (with the index), tel./fax; date of creation of the collective, honorary title, awards; number of participants and their age; Competition program: title, author, timekeeping, phonogram carrier, technical means; Full name of the head of the team, contact phone numbers. For visitors: the need for additional meals or excursions and information about the time of arrival.

IMPORTANT! According to the Russian Government Resolution No. 1177 of December 17, 2013 "On the Approval of the Rules for the Organized Transport of a Group of Children by Bus" (as amended by RF Government Decrees No. 579 of June 23, 2014, No. 652 of June 30, 2015, No. 569 of 22.06.2016), the time limits for submitting information for the organization of transfers and a sightseeing tour are limited.

Applications for the transfer and sightseeing tour are accepted no later than 3 weeks before the start of the festival. Groups that did not have time to apply before this deadline will be refunded money for organizing transfers and a sightseeing tour.

For the organization of the transfer and sightseeing tour it is necessary to send to the transport and excursion department to the address triumph_2@triumph-org.ru the exact data of arrival and departure for the festival, a filled table with the data of visitors and an indication of who will sit on the bus with whom.

Later, than 3 weeks before the start of the festivals, changes in the arrival-departure data, lists for transfers and excursions, transport layout of the participants is impossible. Responsibility for the reliability and timeliness of the provision of these data rests with the persons who provided these data on behalf of the participants. These data is accepted only in electronic form.

Excursional program

Sightseeing tour around St. Petersburg

Participants of the competition will get acquainted with the history of the Northern capital for three centuries. Guests will see the main sights of St. Petersburg: Nevsky Prospekt, Strelka of Vasilievsky Island, the building of the Kunstkamera and the University, the Palace Square and the Winter Palace, the Admiralty, the St. Isaac's Cathedral and the Bronze Horseman, the Mariinsky Theater, the Kazan Cathedral, the Church of the Savior on the Blood, the Field of Mars, , Peter and Paul Fortress, the mosque at the Alexander Garden, the cruiser "Aurora". As part of the tour, there are several stops for taking photographs (photo-stops). Visiting museums is not included in the excursion.

A country excursion to the city of Pushkin (Tsarskoe Selo), where you will visit one of the most elegant and richly decorated palaces - the residence of Empress Catherine the Great, where the famous Amber Room is kept.

2. Excursion to Pavlovsk
The tour begins on the road to Pavlovsk with a story about the era of Paul I - one of the most mysterious emperors on the Russian throne. The Pavlovsky Palace is famous for its very serious damage in the Great Patriotic War, but it was completely restored.

3. Excursion to Gatchina
One of the most peculiar suburbs of St. Petersburg. The center of the Gatchina palace and park ensemble is the palace. Built in the form of a secluded castle, it rises above a quiet water surface, subjugating the surrounding landscape. Nowadays the Gatchina Palace is a museum.

4. Excursion to Peterhof
The excursion to Petergof begins in the city, where historical and architectural monuments like Dashkova and Sheremetyevs' estates, the monastery of the Trinity-Sergius desert and the Constantine Palace, sparkled after the restoration, are located on the historical Peterhof road. Upon arrival in Peterhof - an excursion to the Lower Park, after the excursion, free time for a walk is provided. Visit to the Great Peterhof Palace. The parks of Peterhof are laid by the order of Peter the Great. Peterhof called "Russian Versailles" and "The Kingdom of Fountains." The complex has 180 fountains and 4 cascades.
